About

We are a team of six local creative people who have come together to create Acid Proof Studios, an arts venue on the canal side in Bootle.

Our studios are in the last independent Cooperage in the country, a Victorian industrial canal side warehouse in Sefton. We have brought to life a permanent cultural arts venue, where local creative makers and artists can thrive and succeed.

We are proud of what we have created and are we’re dedicated to our artists, providing the appropriate space, facilities and support they need to connect, create and be inspired.

Eventually, our ambition is to create a public space, for artists and the local community including a café, next to the canal.
